Events

Open/working days are normally on Saturdays between 10.30 am until 4 pm.

Visitors would be welcomed during these times.  If you come and the barn is locked we will be down in the wood working.  Please come and find us.

This page is normally up dated after the quarterly management meetings (next meeting 30 January 2008). 

The following dates are the next planned event days (The program may be changed or varied due to unforeseen circumstances):

• 20 October         Dry stone walling (DSW)
• 10th November   DSW  Transplanting oaks and holly thinning.
• The usual visit by the reindeers may have to be  cancelled   this year due to foot and mouth and blue tongue. 
• 15 December      Reindeer visit otherwise as November. 
• 30 December  12 noon.  Christmas / New year walk and social.  Bring a packed lunch
• 19 January           DSW.  Tree planting.
• 23 February         DSW.  Nest box repair.
• 15 March             DSW.  Hedge thinning far field
• 19 April               DSW.   Check new tree planting covers and stakes
• 2 May                 Open day to see the Bluebells.
